还是个好孩子

John is not a “good” student. He always sleeps in the class. Today he sleeps again.

“John!” Teacher says angrily.

“What? What’s wrong?” John is awaken.

“Why do you make a face? It’s classroom. Look! Everyone is laughing.” Teacher says.

“No one is laughing.” Teacher says.

“No, it’s not me. I was not making a face. I was sleeping.” John fells upset.

“Um. Not bad. You can admit your fault. You are still a good boy.” Teacher is satisfied with it.

约翰并不是个“好”学生。他总是在上课的时候睡觉。今天他又睡着了。

“约翰!”老师生气地喊他。

“什么?出什么事了?”约翰醒了。

“你为什么要做鬼脸?这是教室!看看!同学们都在笑!”老师生气地说。

“没有人在笑呀。”其他同学笑声地嘀咕。

“不,不是我。我没有做鬼脸。刚才我睡着了。”约翰感到不安。

One day a crow stood on a branch near his nest and felt very happy with the meat in his mouth.

迈克和锅

英文:

One day, Mike's mother needed a pot. She asked Mike to borrow one from her friend. So Mike went to the friend's house. She gave him a big pot. On the way home Mike put it down on the road and looked at it. It was made of clay and had three legs.

Then he said to the pot, "You have three legs and I have only two. You can carry me for a few minutes." Then Mike sat down inside the pot. But the pot didn't move.

Mike got angry and broke it then carried the broke pot home. His mother was angry. "You are stupid." She said. But Mike thought, "I'm not stupid. Only a stupid person carried something with three legs."

中文:

一天,迈克的妈妈需要一口锅,她让迈克向她朋友借一口锅。于是,迈克去了她的朋友家,她的朋友借个他一口大锅。在回家的路上,迈克把锅放在路上看了看它,它是一口粘土制成的三条腿的锅。

捕石头的渔夫

狮与鼠

Lion was awakened from sleep by a Mouse running over his face. Rising up in anger, he caught him and was about to kill him, when the Mouse piteously xzhufu_xom entreated, saying: “If you would only spare my life, I would be sure to repay your kindness.” The Lion laughed and let him go.

It happened shortly after this that the Lion was caught by some hunters, who bound him by strong ropes to the ground. The Mouse, recognizing his roar,came up, and gnawed the rope with his teeth, and setting him free, exclaimed: “You ridiculed the idea of my ever being able to help you, not expecting to receive from me any repayment of your favour; but now you know that it is possible for even a Mouse to confer benefits on a Lion.”

狮和鼠

一只老鼠从一只狮子面前跑过去,将它从梦中吵醒。

狮子生气地跳起来,捉住老鼠,要弄死它。老鼠哀求说:「只要你肯饶恕我这条小生命,我将来一定会报答你的大恩。」狮子便笑着放了它。

后来狮子被几个猎人捉住,用粗绳捆绑倒在地上。老鼠听出是狮子的吼声,走来用牙齿咬断绳索,释放了它,并大声说:「你当时嘲笑我想帮你的忙,而且也不指望我有什么机会报答。但是你现在知道了,就算是小老鼠,也能向狮子效劳的。」
