　　Saturday morning, Jon's father and mother to work overtime, Jon a person at home. Mom and dad told him: "do not open the door to strangers."

　　星期六的上午，乔恩的爸爸妈妈去单位加班了，乔恩一个人在家。出门前爸爸妈妈告诉他：“不要给陌生人开门。”

　　乔恩正专心画画的时候，他听到了咚咚地敲门声。是谁呢？乔恩跑到门前一边问：“谁呀？”，一边搬来一个小板凳，站在上面，从猫眼向外看。他看到一位陌生的叔叔手拿工文包站在门外，“我是你爸爸的朋友。”乔恩心想爸爸妈妈说过千万不要给陌生人开门，这位叔叔是不是坏人呢？于是他装作家里有人，大声地说:“爸爸，门外有你的朋友，快来开门。”门外的叔叔听了乔恩的话，连忙一声不响地离开了。
