　　用英语记日记是提高英语写作技能的有效方法之一。与其他写作形式相比，它短小，省时。它能帮助我们培养用英语思考的习惯。如果我们坚持这样做，渐渐地我们就学会了用英语来表达我们的思想。

　　准备期末考试 Prepare for the Final Exam

　　It’s almost theend of this term, so I have to prepare for the final exam. Chinese, math and Englishare the three subjects. I am not so good at math, so I must work hard. Everynight, I spend little time on watching TV. Luckily, I don’t have much homeworkand I have enough time to review. I hope I can do a good job in the exam.

　　倒霉的一天

　　I watched television late last night so I woke up late. My mother asked me to go to the market to buy some eggs for her. When I played with a little dog on the street, I dropped the eggs on the ground. They were all broken. My mother was very angry with me when I went home. I am very unhappy today.

　　昨晚我看电视看到深夜，所以醒来晚。妈妈让我去市场买了一些鸡蛋给她。当我在街上的跟一只小狗玩的时候，我把鸡蛋扔在在地上。他们都被打破了。当我回家的时候，我的母亲是我很生气。今天我很不高兴。

　　参观科技馆

　　It was fine today, Lily and I went to visit the Science Museum. It is about two kilometers away from our homes, so we decided to go there by bike. We set off at 8 o'clock. At the museum we saw a lot of interesting things. We could operate some equipment. There we met many classmates and friends. We thought we had learned a lot and were more interested in science.

　　今天是个好天气，我和丽丽去科技馆参观。科技馆离我们家有两公里远，我们决定骑自行车去。我们早晨八点就出发了。在科技馆里，我们看见许多有趣的东西，我们还可以操作某些装置乙在那里我们遇到许多同学和朋友。我们都认为，我们从中学到了很多知识，同时对科学更感兴趣了。

　　At half past eleven we left the museum for home. We enjoyed ourselves in the museum today.

　　十一点半，我们离开科技馆回家了。今天我们在科技馆过得很愉快。

　　冬季扫雪

　　I got up early this Sunday morning. When I went out, I saw everything outside dressed in white. It must have snowed last night, I thought. The road was covered with thick snow, so it was very hard to walk on it. People always say that we should be more helpful to the society, so ! decided to clean the road ,up. I kept on shoveling and sweeping with a spade and broom. After 2 hours, I finished. The whole road was clean again, so it would be easier for people to walk on.

　　这个星期天早上我起得很早。我出去时发现外面一片雪白。晚上一定下雪了，我想。马路被厚厚的雪盖上了，人们走在上面肯定很艰难。平时总听人说要做一个对社会有用的人，因此我打算把马路上的雪清扫干净。我手里拿着铁锨和扫帚不停地铲啊，扫啊。整整干了两个钟头。马路终于又像平时那样平坦整洁了，这样人们走在上面就不费力了。
