The Importance of Innovation

“Mindless habitual behavior is the enemy of innovation。 ” I assume that you are familiar with Rosabeth Moss Kanter’s famous remark。 It is obvious that a man who always stick to habit and experience can hardly create new things 。

Rosabeth Moss Kanter’s remark aims at informing us of the significance of innovation。 Why does innovation play an indispensable role in our life ? innovation can promote the advancement of both individuals and society as a whole。 only those who are innovative can make continuous progress and maintain a petitive edge。 Quite a few examples can be given to prove the importance of A， and I can think of no better illustration than the following one: how could Steve Jobs， a genius who changed the way of modern munication， recreation and even our life， launch so many powerful electronic products constantly without creative spirit?

We should always bear in mind that the consciousness of innovation is of great significance to us all。 Hence， we need to develop a habit of discovering new things，using new methods and applying new thoughts in our work， study or simply everyday life。 “Innovation is the spirit of human being’s progress。” A philosopher once said。

What we cannot afford to lose

We cannot lose innovation

There is a wonderful word which expresses the most original motions and desires among human-beings。 With solving any kind of imperfections， our world has moved ahead。 This is the word “innovation” that we cannot afford to lose。

We chicaned every detail of the innovation。 Thousands years before， we created fire when we took a stone to knock another one。 Since Han Dynasty， four great inventions had been created and it is one of the greatest signs that China bee to the ancient civilized country。 And nowadays， thousands of software， products， architectures and public facilities have upgraded more than that about 100 years ago。 So how did these happen? What will you do if you are not satisfied with your tools anymore? What will you do if old mode cannot afford to develop in a pany? There is no doubt that we should innovate no matter where we are and what we do。 Not because of the design itself， but actually for its intended purpose。

If there was no Apple， everyone could not imagine how to contact others easily and enjoy a better Internet surfing。

If there was no Microsoft， perhaps we still worked in a dim office and duplicate some troublesome documents。 If there was no Newton， and no theory of gravity， maybe I will win the Nobel Prize like Newton rather than just standing here。 I have heard that three apple changed the world。 The first one seduced Eve。 The second one awakened Newton。 The third one was in the hands of Steve Jobs。 We sort of think the innovation of the world began with apple。 I imagine lots of people want to bee another Newton or Jobs right now with just one hand to change the world， right? Have the innovation to follow your heart。 It somehow already reflects what you truly want to bee。 Everything else is secondary。

Via questioning， we can start to innovate。 Via innovating， we can start to create better lives。 No innovation， no improvement。 No improvement， no success。 And no success， no civilization。 Now， our time is limited， so don't waste it living someone else's life! Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice! Don't let yourself down! It is the innovation that we cannot afford to lose!

Good morning dear young fellows from suntrans,

Today is my two months and two days celebration of working in suntrans. This is my first job, and I am very glad tohave it, and to stand here sharing my feelings with all of you.

Today my topic is a little bit long, it is,the happy days of my dear little young fellows and me spent together in our companySuntrans. We had numerous happy days together, and every day is memorable. Itis so long that if I share every moment with you, this meeting may last three days or even longer. So in order to give us time to work, to eat, to go homeand to sleep, I will only share three most memorable moments we had together.

The first memorable moment for me was thecompany activity held in May by our human resources Department. We played games together and had a great time. That day was my 25th birthday, but that is not the most important reason whyI remember it so well. Firstly, I learned our company’s history, and felt thatit is very difficult to start a business, and thought that everyone in ourcompany is very hard working. Secondly, I joined Maple’s team that day,although we almost lost all of the competitions, everyone was so happy andfriendly and my team made me understood the meaning of the phrase– “team spirit”。I began to understand and like our company after that day’s activity.

The second memorable moment for me was the birthday party held in May. I never had such a birthday party before, what’s more, my birthday is the same month as our General Manager Lu, and I felt very honored and grateful. I received a lot of warm celebration words from all of you and a lovely birthday card. I was so moved that day and had the feeling that I am a part of this big family. When I blew off the candles, I made three wishes, firstly, make progress in English, secondly, make progress in Japanese,Thirdly, do my best to become a good translator in Suntrans. I hope my wisheswill come true in the future.

The third memorable moment for me was The Second Experience Exchanging Forum of Mining Investment 2015. This is the first time I took part in such a big conference, and I was very excited and willing to do something for it. We did work very hard for this conference, and even asked the Dragon Boat Festival to contribute. This conference gave me a great workexperience and taught me many things: for example how to do advertising and marketing, and a great knowledge in mining industry. The most important is, our young fellows’team work is very brilliant, and I love our company more thanever after this conference.

These are the three most memorable moments for me that I spent with all of you in Suntrans, I hope that we can create moreand more in the future.

As you slowly open your eyes, look around, notice where the light comes into your room; listen carefully, see if there are new sounds you can recognize; feel with your body and spirit, and see if you can sense the freshness in the air.

Yes, yes, yes, it's a new day, it's a different day, and it's a bright day! And most importantly, it's a new beginning for your life, a beginning where you are going to make new decisions, take new actions, make new friends, and take your life to a totally unprecedented(空前的) level.

In your mind's eye, you can see clearly the things you want to have, the paces you intend to go, the relationships you desire to develop, and the positions you aspire(励志)to reach.

You can hear your laughters of joy and happiness on the day when everything happens as you dream. You can see the smiles on the people around you when the magic moment strikes. You can feel your face is getting red, your heart is beating fast, and your blood is rushing all over your body, to every single corner of your being!

You know all this is real as long as you are confident, passionate and committed!(效忠的) And you are confident, you are passionate, you are committed!

You will no longer fear making new sounds, showing new facial expressions, using your body in new ways, approaching new people, and asking new questions.

You will live every single day of your life with absolute passion, and you will show your passion through the words you speak and the actions you take.

You will focus all your time and effort on the most important goals of your life. You will never succumb(屈服，屈从) to challenges of hardships.

You will never waver(动摇) in your pursuit of excellence. After all, you are the best, and you deserve the best!

As your coach and friend, I can assure you the door to all the best things in the world will open to you, but the key to that door is in your hand. You must do your part. You must faithfully follow the plans you make and take the actions you plan; you must never quit and you must never fear. I know you must do it, you can do it, you will do it, and you will succeed! Now stand firm and tall, make a fist, get excited, and yell it out:
