As we all know china is the country that the nation’s economy and people’s living standard are growing rapidly. And we are someone here, in the East, in Asia, in the whole world. That's because our Chinese,our hearts always go with love and hope.This love and this hope is from the heart of every chinese.It is deep and strong.
Chinese people worldwide shared tears and joys for the historical occasion , we are so e__cited . That moment we are full of hope. The hope is from the confidence of ourselves. The Olympic Games have been held successfully in China, ShenzhouVII has successfully flown into space, We have set up the satellite called Change to the moon! We are proud of China. We have confidence .
However, we have still faced up to many chanllenges. As one of the developing countries in Asian countries,the ecnomic
crisis have some effect on our motherland.At the same time we still have problems on food,medicare,welfare,relgion and so on.

Since the day I was born,I began to have a proud name—Chinese.Since the day I began to talk,the most beautiful sentence I’ve ever learnt has been “I love you,China!”
I love you,China,and I’m so proud of being a Chinese.I’m proud that I’ve got the beautiful yellow skin,black eyes and black hair.I’m also proud that I speak the most beautiful language in the world—Chinese.
I love you,China,for I can feel the deep love you give me every day,every minute.Last year,I got an opportunity to visit the United States of America.During my staying there,my father’s boss once invited my family to dinner.While at table,he looked at me and asked:“Little boy,how long have you been in America?” “About a month,” I answered,“How lucky you are!” he said,“If you were living in China,how could you learn such perfect English?” I smiled and told him proudly that all the students in China are able to learn English at school.I saw his surprised eyes and said to myself,“I’m proud of you,China.For you are offering us the best education.”
When I came back from the USA,my friends asked me:“How do you feel about your staying there?” “Wonderful” I said.“Then why do you come back?” Hearing this,I told them there were lots of beautiful countries in the world,but none of them can compare with our own country—China.How true the saying is:“There’s no place like home!”

Good afternoon,everybody!Today I would like to talk about customs of Miao nationality in our country.Now it has a population of more than 7 million.Half of them live in Guizhou province,and others dwell in Yunnan,Hunan,S
ichuan and other places.They have their own language and characters which are just as this image showed.Their houses,which are called Diao Jiao Lou,were built of wood with national feature.The foothold of the house look precarious,but it is actually steady and safe.The music and dance there has a long history,this picture shows Tai Ping __iao,this one describes Tiao Yue,and this one e__presses Gu Wu.Miao women's beautiful skirts and silver accouterments are known all over the world for their nice work.They have lots of festivals,such as Climbing Festival,Autumn Festival,Dragon Boat Festival etc.
Now let me introduce you some interesting customs of Miao nationality.

the picture conveys a strong patriotic meaning. it portrays a common natural phenomenon: when autumn arrives, leaves from trees will fall to the ground. the fallen leaves will not abandon the tree that they came from. on the contrary, the leaves fall down around the tree in order to cultivate the tree’s roots, which symbolize one’s motherland.
patriotism implies a love for one’s mother country. it is the noblest of human sentiments. every citizen should possess some spirit of patriotism. patriotism, however, is not to be testified by the tongue; it should be manifested in action. with this definite object in view, one must do his best for his motherland, and, at any moment, be ready to make sacrifices for her. the man who possesses such will is a real patriot at heart.
patriotism may be shown in various ways: soldiers display it by fighting for or defending their country; scientists e__press it by doing constant research work so that more advanced technology can be introduced and utilized in the construction of their motherland; those overseas demonstrate it by doing whatever they can to help their motherland and fall into its embrace without hesitation whenever they are needed.
