整书让我有所深思的便是主人公们对金钱的重视度，无论婚姻或幸福他们都和一定的金钱利益扯上关系，在那时的他们眼中，或许只有钱才会给他们安全感。
因而村里一旦来了一位有钱的绅士，母亲们便认定他为自己的准女婿。所以当班纳特太太得知伊丽莎白拒绝柯林斯的求婚后十分气愤，责怪女儿不明智。以柯林斯的条件而言，可以保证伊丽莎白将来有安定的生活，在其母亲看来，放弃这样一棵“摇钱树”是一种无理取闹。在她年轻的时候，也是通过婚姻来衣食无忧，现在她更有义务要求女儿们以此获得“幸福”，没有原因，这只是一种规律。
于是这便有了书中几对男女的分分和和，当他们疲倦了与金钱的抗衡和追求，各自都放下了傲慢与偏见，作出了合乎自己的选择。其实当他们放下的那一刻，他们就将幸福与金钱划清了界限，也重新认识了自己的价值观，但这一个个耐人寻味的篇章同时也是向读者发出了许多发人省醒的问题：幸福和金钱是交错还是平行?我们的价值观是否有存在问题?
这一切在我合上书的那一刻便有了答案!幸福和金钱并不存在一定的交集，可一旦有人歪斜了自己的人生观、价值观，他的幸福就会建立在金钱上，但要知道的是，那种所谓的幸福只是被金钱的诱惑蒙蔽了双眼，当我们醒悟的同时，我们就会发现我们犯下了多么严重的观念错误。
