英语作文--Story of a Tree-树的故事

　　Once there was a family living in a cabin under a huge tree. When the wind blew heavily, the tree protected the cabin from the strong wind. One day, the man wanted to build another house and cut down many trees including the big tree in front of his cabin. The family rebuilt their cabin and built another house with the wood that the man had cut. But their happy days didn't stay long. When a heavy wind came, without any protection, the roofs of the houses were blown off. How sad they were! Then they realized how wrong they had done. They shouldn't have cut down the tree.

　　从前一棵大树下住着一户人家。大风猛烈吹袭时，大树可以保护小屋。一天，这家主 人想再建一座房子。他砍了许多树，也包括门前的这棵大树。一家人用他砍得的木头重建了小屋井建了一座新屋。可是好日子并没持续很久。 一阵大风袭来，由于没有任何保护，房子的屋顶都被吹掀了。他们好难过呀!这时他们意识到他们做的错事。他们不该砍了那棵树。

How regretful they were!
