　　小镇里的各处建筑，形态不一。有的恢弘大气，有的厚重朴实，这里的建筑，全是德日殖民时代遗存下的，现在有德式建筑103处，日式建筑63处，有德军司令部、德军医院、火车站、机车维修段、电报大楼、邮局、煤矿等完整建筑群落。房屋，一律是黄墙红瓦，还有红色的门窗、木柱。每一座屋子四周都被葱绿的树木、美丽的花朵、乳白色的围栏所包围，并且更加映衬出房屋的古色古香。有部分房屋已变得斑驳破败，灰黑色的厚砖，裸露出它本来的面目。但仔细看看，却分明感觉到这里流淌着一种历史沧桑下的沉重。
