　　找朋友

　　Sam is a little fish. He lives in the sea. He is very lonely. He wants to have a friend. The friend looks like him. Sam sees an ink fish. The ink fish has eight legs. He doesn’t look like Sam. So Sam goes away.

　　Sam meets a shark. He wants to say hello to the shark. The shark opens his big mouth. Sam runs away quickly.

　　Sam is tired and hungry. He wants to have a rest. Then he sees a round fish. She says to him. “Hello! Would you like to be my friend?”

　　Sam answers: “Of course! But you are round. I am flat.” The round fish days: “But we are both fishes.”

　　Sam thinks and says, “You are right. Let’s be friends.” They become good friends.

　　塞姆是一条小鱼，他在海里。他生在海里。他很孤独，想要找一个朋友，那个朋友看起来要想他。 塞姆看见一条墨鱼。墨鱼有8条腿，看上去不像塞姆。因此塞姆游走了。

　　塞姆遇见一条鲨鱼。他想跟鲨鱼问好。鲨鱼张开大嘴，塞姆有迅速地逃走了。

　　塞姆又累又饿，他要休息一会儿。这时他看见一条圆鱼，圆鱼对他说：“你好!你愿意做我的朋友吗?”

　　塞姆回答：“好哇!可你是圆形的，我是扁的。”圆鱼说：“但是我们俩都是鱼啊!”

　　塞姆思考后说：“你讲得对，让我们做朋友吧。”他们就成为好朋友了。

　　Short Girl

　　Margaret was a small girl. She was a little girl. All her friends were taller than her. She was shorter than all her friends. She wanted to be tall. Her mom told her not to worry. One day Margaret would be tall. One day she would be taller than her friends. One day all her friends would be shorter than her. She was happy to hear that. She onlyhad one question for her mom. When would she be taller than her friends? Would it be next year? She hoped it would be next year. She was tired of being the shortest girl.

　　A child became lost in a forest.He started to cry.

　　At that moment,an elephant passed by and saw him crying.

　　“Child,why are you crying?”the elephant asked.

　　“I’ve lost my mother,”the child said.

　　“Don’t cry.I’ll stay with you until you find your mother,”the elephant told him.

　　“Oh!My body is going up in the air.Wow!This is fun,” the child said as the elephant gently picked him up.

　　The elephant put the child on his back.

　　“Elephant,I want to go down,now,”said the child.

　　“Ha,ha!Wow!Your trunk is like a slide!”the child exclaimed.

　　“This time, it’s like a swing.This is so much fun.Ha,ha,ha!” shouted the child.

　　“Elephant,your ears are like cymbals. Cling!Ha,ha!How fun it is!”

　　“Let’s sing a song. Hickory dickory dock!The mouse ran up the clock!

　　The clock struck one,the mouse ran down! Hickory dickory dock!Cling!”sang the child.

　　“Uh?There’s my mother.Mother,here I am!”the child shouted.

　　“Thank you,elephant.I had a good time. If we meet,again,let’s play together some more,” the child said.

　　The elephant was happy because the child had a good time with him.Also,he was very happy that the child found his mother.

　　我的朋友，大象

　　一个孩子在森林中迷路了。他开始哭泣。

　　这时候，一头大象经过，看到了他正在哭泣。

　　“孩子，你为什么哭泣?”大象问到。

　　“我和妈妈走散了，”这个孩子说。

　　“不要哭了。我将和你呆在一起直到你找到妈妈，”

　　大象对他说。

　　“噢!我的身体正在空中升起。哇!好玩，”

　　当大象轻轻地把他升起时，他说。

　　大象把孩子放在他的背上。

　　“大象，我现在想要下来，”这个孩子说。

　　“哈，哈!哇!你的鼻子象一个滑梯!”孩子喊到。

　　“这次，它象一个秋千。如此有意思。哈，哈，哈!”孩子喊到。

　　“大象，你的耳朵象铜钹。克铃!哈，哈!多么有趣!”

　　“让我们唱支歌 嘀嗒哒!老鼠跑上了座钟!座钟敲了一下，老鼠跑了下来!嘀嗒哒!克铃!”孩子唱到。

　　“嗯?我的妈妈。妈妈，我在这里!”孩子叫到。

　　“谢谢你，打响。我玩得很开心。如果我们再次相遇，让我们一起多玩一会儿，”孩子说。

　　大象很高兴，因为孩子和他一起玩得很开心。

　　孩子找到了他的妈妈，他也同样开心。

　　顽皮的弟弟

　　Naughty Brother Donny is my little brother. He is a naughty boy. On Sunday morning Donny went into the yard and played with a dog. Sometimes a bird would come down to stay on the top’s of the dog’s house. Then Donny threw a stone at it. Suddenly the little boy began crying. Mother ran to Donny and asked him what was wrong. He said, “I’ve broken sister’s plate. She has beaten me.” “Why?” “I threw it at a bird, and it went straight to the plate.” Such was my naught brother.
