初中英语答题技巧

听、说、读、写是英语教学与学生学习的四大基本要求,其中读是非常重要的一个环节。做好初中英语阅读教学工作,是提高初中英语教学成绩的一个重要的方面。这对农村英语阅读教学是一个巨大的挑战。面对实际情况,我对英语阅读教学进行了探索,找出了一些存在的问题,并分析了其存在的主要原因,以探究和改进农村英语阅读教学的方法,从而提高学生的英语阅读理解能力。

一、介绍知识背景,培养阅读兴趣

首先,在学会文中生词,并基本了解其运用的基础上,采用背景知识介绍、问题设置等方法,激发学生阅读的兴趣;其次,与学生讨论实际生活相关的话题,或利用幻灯片、实物,加深对阅读背景的了解,以此把学生带入一定的意境。比如,学习七年级第46课的“Let’s Go to the Zoo”,课文的引入可以先出示一张动物园的照片,引出我们周围的动物,并通过图片展示的方法,展示我们身边的动物,然后导入课文的内容,让学生模仿动物来表演。最后展示一张关在笼子里的狮子,让学生讨论,狮子想待在笼子里吗?不,它想回到森林里,以此唤醒学生保护动物的意识,这是本课的教育意义。

二、由浅入深,递进训练阅读

教师给学生准备的阅读材料应该由简单短小到逐渐加长篇幅,问题设置也逐渐提高难度,使学生阅读起来有信心。阅读内容从精读的Text到自主学习的Reading和练习册上及试卷上的阅读;从学生实际生活到社会生活再到科学技术的各方面,由易到难、由浅入深,逐步变难。

三、小组讨论,带动学困生

我任教班级的学生英语水平参差不齐,学生两极分化现象比较严重。我在阅读教学中尝试进行分层教学,对不同的学生设定不同的目标:成绩较好的学生做综合性较高的题目,基础差的学生做容易的题目,然后进行讨论。在小组讨论过程当中,基础差的学生能从讨论中获取更多的阅读信息,帮助提高理解程度。基础较好的学生能够加深理解,做一些难度比较大的题目,如推断题,使他们更上一层楼。这样能使每个学生都在自己原有基础上获得提高,从而增强自信心,保持阅读的持久热情。

四、做阅读题的基本步骤和方法

1.首先先看文章后面的问题,再仔细阅读该篇文章:也就是带着后面的问题来阅读短文,知道出题人的意图,尤其要注意每篇文章的首尾段落和每段话的首尾句,从而把握文章的主旨大意和作者的目的,选取一些有用的信息,与题目无关的信息一带而过。

2.仔细阅读全篇文章,用心琢磨:根据题目的要求,认真阅读与习题有关的词汇、句子或段落,并要特别注意一些信息词,可边读边用铅笔做些标记,把有关的人物、事件、时间、地点、起因(即5个W:who,what,when,where,why)用铅笔划出来。例如凡是遇到人物就圈起来,看完数一数,有几个圆圈就有几个人,这样就会一目了然。在经过这样细致的处理后,就会对文章的内容和细节一清二楚,对故事的发生、发展、高潮和结局有更深入的了解。这是把握整篇文章内容梗概的一个突破口。

3.最后复读全文,验证答案:在做出全部习题后,应将答案带入文中,再次重读全文,看文中前后意思是否连贯通顺,是否前后自相矛盾,要是意思不相一致或者自相矛盾,就要考虑重新选择答案。

4.不可忽视的三个合理有效的做题技巧:

(1)瞻前顾后。对于一些具体问题不要局限于一词一事或一句,而应该从短文整体出发,由主线逐步向外扩展,打开自己的思路,前后上下对照。这样,就会减少“钻牛角尖”和“繁琐分析”的现象。

(2)首尾突破。对于大多数短文来说,尤其是新闻报道或议论文的第一段,或每段的第一句,常包含了全文的主要信息或基本观点;而结尾部分通常是结局或结论。寓言或幽默短文的结尾也往往是画龙点睛之笔或是值得探究的地方。

(3)先易后难。先做简单容易回答的问题,再做比较困难的复杂的题目,并且各个击破。这样可减轻心理压力,有了完成简单题的内容作铺垫,就会从中得到一些启示。

总而言之,在日常的英语阅读教学中,教师要多给学生讲解一些做阅读理解题目的技巧和方法,训练学生这方面的能力,同时也需要学生自身扎实的语言基础,需要平时经过严格的基本功训练和长期的知识积累过程。所以,只有平时认真学习钻研,才能拥有坚实的英语基础知识,加上已经掌握的有效合理的做题方法,就会达到事半功倍的效果。
