八年级英语学习方法

在初中阶段的英语教学中,初二年级的分化现象往往十分突出,直接影响着学生在整个中学阶段的英语成绩,同时也阻碍了初中英语教学质量的提高。因此,如何防止分化,大面积提高教学质量,使学生在初中阶段获得较好的成绩,是我们英语教师值得研究讨论并着手解决的问题。

学生出现分化的原因:

第一,记忆词汇出现困难。回想初一时候,学生学习兴趣高,可以很容易按照教师指导大声诵读,积极造句,甚至自己把一些有趣的单词放入现有的分类词汇表里。但是随着学习的深入,词汇量的增加,单靠兴趣本身来维系学习热情显然不可行,部分学生在学习中遇到困难时往往缺乏克服困难、解决问题、继续学习英语的意志,继而出现懒惰,遇难而退的现象。针对这个想象,教学中就必须做到帮助学生解决根本问题,词汇多,分类困难,记忆困难。具体方法,找到其中的规律,包括一些较浅、较基础的词汇记忆方法(词根、词缀法或谐音法等),鼓励学生,单词的记忆是有趣的规律性游戏,而不是用简单加号连接的算术连加题。这就解决了孩子恐惧前方,任务无所适从的心理障碍,同时在一定的规律讲解下,真正有效的帮学生把初二的一类词汇和阅读二类词汇进行串联记忆。作为家长,可以做的功课其实相对简单,就是鼓励并监督孩子完成课下的单词卡片记忆等。

第二,语法学习出现混淆。与初一相比,语法本身的难度并没有显著的难度变化,但是由于多种语法现象的介入,这就使得部分基本功不够扎实的学生,对于多个单独的知识点产生混淆,头脑中哪怕一时的混沌,都有可能为将来初三的新知识习得和综合复习带来极大障碍。因此,在这个阶段的教学,一定得基于新知识的详细讲解,配以充分练习和对于旧知识的有计划复习,外加上及时的类知识点辨析,这就是所谓的三管齐下。有一点疏漏,对进一步学习都会带来更大的麻烦。对于有精力、有能力做家庭辅导家长,也要重点注意到自己的孩子是否对初一知识和新知识有以上提到的混淆,具体操作方法是用初一学过的现在进行时同步练习配以初二阅读中出现的新知识点,动名词做表语的句子让孩子自己说出是否有区别,并解释具体有什么不同(注意,要孩子做主观题,而不是选择题)。
