分析学生学情,导入内容切合学生实际

新课程标准要求教师关注学生的全面发展,因此任何形式的课堂导入,都不应该束缚了学生的情感和思维,跟着教师原先设计的教学思路走。相反,我们的课堂导入的设计时要突出学生的主体地位,尽可能贴近学生生活,让学生有话可说、有话能说、有话想说。只有这样,才能激发学生对新知识的兴趣。

1.导入的难易度要控制在学生的最近发展区内

最近发展区理论认为,学习者在实际发展水平与潜在发展水平之间的差距为最近发展区域,这个区域是动态的,学习者的主要进步是在最近发展区完成的。教师在设计教学导入时,要基于对学生的认知特点和实际语言水平调整导入设计的难度。同为《Is this your bag?》一课的导入,一位老师以学生身边的文具用品为切入点导入,引出句型“Is this your…? ”因为话题贴近学生生活,使学生感到熟悉和亲切,整个导入显得流畅、自然。另一位老师则采用故事导入法,讲述某个孩子捡到一个包正在寻找失主。故事导入一开始也真的能够吸引学生的注意力,但对学生来说,教师所设置情境离他们现实生活比较远,学生心中没有太多的话语,使整个导入过程显得很沉闷。

2.导入的信息量要顾及学生的个体差异

课堂导入设计不能只重视导入的过程,不能只重视导入内容和新授知识的衔接,更应关注我们的学生。关注学生的认知能力、接受能力和已有的语言知识水平。课堂导入的信息容量过大,只适合一部分水平较高的学生,却导致大部分学生只能做忠实的听众,从而产生更多的不良后果。“学生心理发展的差异性决定了其学习方式的不同,导致学习进度有快有慢,学习程度有深有浅(王艳华,2013)”。这种心理发展的差异要求教师因材施教,教师要通过对学生的整体分析,找出学生间的差距,“在英语课程实施中应尽可能满足不同学生的学习需要(教育部,2012)”,设计出相适应的课堂导入。如PEP小学英语四年级下册第四单元《It’s warm today》A部分第一课时,该课时的重点是掌握单词warm\hot\cool\cold\weatherreporter,学会运用句型“It’s cold in…”。在实际的教学过程中,笔者仔细分析自己班学生的具体情况设计了这样的课堂导入,首先准备好几杯水,并设计一个自己感觉到口渴了的情境,然而让学生通过触摸每一杯水,感知得出warm, hot, cool, cold。这样的导入能让学生全员参与,亲身体验,就不会出现课堂成为部分学生的舞台,大部分学生成为被动的观众这种局面。学生的学习积极性提高了,学习的兴趣更浓了,导入的有效性也随之提高了。
